Lorry Crawford

Lorry came to the Bergman Group directly from the healthcare profession. She spent 16 years leading the marketing team at Charlottesville, Va.'s Martha Jefferson Hospital, whose programs and services have been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the nation's best. With an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia (and graduate work in marketing and economics), Lorry began her career as a senior account executive with Payne, Ross Advertising. In 1988, she became marketing director and sales manager for Charter Hospital in Charlottesville and then marketing director for Turning Point, a substance abuse program with facilities in Charlottesville and Newport News. After that, she joined the staff of Martha Jefferson Hospital, becoming marketing director in 2001. Lorry is the co-author, with Anne Canter Nickels, of From the Ground Up: The Role of Marketing and Public Relations in Designing a New Healthcare Facility, published in 2004.
