Sandler Golf Team Motors to Buick Open, Scene of ’07 Bateman Victory

This weekend, Sandler Golf Team star Brian Bateman travels to Grand Blanc, Mich., scene of his 2007 victory at the Buick Open.

Brian will be joined by Sandler Golf teammates Woody Austin, John Rollins and Omar Uresti. Over the weekend at the Travelers Championship, John shot a six under par 64 in the second round, followed by a third-round 68.

Following last year’s triumph at the Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club, Brian commented, “It’s been a life-changing week. A life-changing putt.” He was referring to the climactic moment on the 18th green, when he sank a birdie putt that earned him a one-stroke victory. That winning stroke averted a playoff with a trio of PGA players that included Sandler Golf teammate Woody Austin.
